Overview
We want you to be fully satisfied with Compass. This policy explains your options for refunds and cancellations depending on your subscription tier.
1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee (Insights Tier)
New Insights tier subscribers are eligible for a full refund of their first month's subscription fee if they request cancellation within 14 days of their initial charge. This guarantee applies to first-time subscribers only and does not apply to subsequent billing periods.
To request a refund under this guarantee, email support@joincompass.ai with the subject line "Refund Request" within 14 days of your first charge. Include your account email address. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
2. Cancellation
You may cancel your Insights tier subscription at any time through your account settings ( Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription) or by emailing support@joincompass.ai.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to all Insights tier features until that date. No partial-period refund is issued for cancellations mid-billing-cycle unless you are within your 14-day guarantee window (see above).
After the billing period ends, your account will be downgraded to the Free tier. Your data and dashboards are retained for 90 days, after which they may be deleted.
3. Tier Downgrades
If you downgrade from Insights to Free mid-billing-cycle, the downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No pro-rated refund is issued for the remaining days in the cycle. We do not charge a downgrade fee.
4. Enterprise Tier
Enterprise tier agreements are governed by a separate Order Form or Statement of Work signed between your company and Launchpad/OpenLoop. Refund terms for Enterprise customers are set forth in those agreements. Enterprise subscriptions are not eligible for refunds under this policy.
5. Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, issue credits or refunds outside this policy in cases of significant service disruption or error on our part. Such decisions are made case-by-case and do not create any precedent or obligation.
6. How to Request a Refund
All refund requests must be submitted to:
- Email: support@joincompass.ai
- Subject line: "Refund Request — [your account email]"
- Include: account email, date of charge, reason for request
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
