What it does: Receives Braintree webhook notifications for transactions and subscriptions.

Credentials needed

• Merchant ID
• Public Key
• Private Key

Setup

1. Braintree Control Panel → Account → My User → API Keys
2. Copy Merchant ID, Public Key, Private Key
3. Control Panel → Settings → Webhooks → Create new webhook
4. URL: https://your-domain/api/webhooks/payments/braintree/<your-tenant-slug> (request must include x-compass-signature HMAC-SHA256 of body)
5. Select: Transaction Settled, Subscription Went Active, Subscription Canceled, Subscription Charged Successfully
