Pathway catalog
A pathway in Compass represents a single treatment journey — the combination of diagnosis category, prescription medication, dosing, and fulfillment route. Compass uses pathways as the primary unit of analysis for cohort retention, CAC, and cross-tenant benchmarking.
What is a live pathway?
A pathway is live in a given billing period if it generated at least one order. Insights billing is metered by the number of live pathways in your workspace each month.
Example: if your brand runs GLP-1, hair loss, and ED pathways, and all three had orders this month, you have 3 live pathways → $5,997/mo on Insights.

How to set up a pathway
- 1Go to Settings → Pathways in your workspace.
- 2Click "New pathway" and select the treatment category.
- 3Name the pathway (e.g. "GLP-1 Semaglutide 0.5mg monthly").
- 4Map the pathway to a product SKU from your connected payment processor.
- 5Assign a pharmacy adapter for fulfillment tracking.
- 6Click "Launch" — the pathway is now live and begins accumulating cohort data.
Cross-tenant benchmarks
On the Insights tier, each live pathway is benchmarked against anonymized aggregate data from other Compass workspaces running the same pathway category. Benchmarks include:
- 90-day retention rate by acquisition source
- Median CAC payback period
- Pharmacy SLA (order-to-ship median)
- Refill rate at 30 / 60 / 90 days
